Trade Credits
EXCHANGE CREDIT USE
Used Paperbacks – pay 50% of the Cover Prices

Pay LESS IF YOU USE EXCHANGE CREDITS
1)Bring your used books to the counter first so your credits can be figured.
Books you bring in earn credits worth 70% of their cover prices.
Exchange credits are not cash; we do not give out cash.
2)The original cover price of paperbacks you buy will be deducted from your credits:
The purchased books then cost 30% of the cover prices up to the credit amount.
If you use up your credits, the rest of the purchase will cost 50% of cover prices.
3)Credits left over: You will be given a card for the rest of your credits.
You keep this card. We do not keep a record of credits.
4)Books you bring in must be in EXCELLENT shape.
Books cannot be musty, tattered, or have pages or covers missing!!
We reserve the option to refuse books not acceptable for resale due to condition
or over-stock.
We do not accept older paperbacks – they do not sell.
5)NO magazines, library books, cookbooks, older romances, business, textbooks or
hardcover books accepted.
6)If you bring in Harlequins & Silhouettes, they cannot be older than 2003, AND
you can only use those Trade Credits for Harlequin & Silhouette purchases.
We also sell NEW BOOKS FOR CHILDREN and BOOKS BY AREA AUTHORS.
NO credit use on new book purchases.
EXAMPLE:
You bring in 8 books:
Cover price totaling $55.92 x 70% = 39.14 exchange credits
You buy 6 books:
Cover price totaling $35.95
$39.14 - $35.95 = 3.19 left-over credits for your trade credit card
Your Cost: 35.95 X 30% = $10.79 - your cost, plus tax, for 6 books!!
(Plus $3.19 trade credit card to use toward next purchase.)
